oslo

My friend and I decided to take the train into Oslo the other day. Mostly because I have a gift card at a book store and the one in Oslo is a lot bigger than the one where I live. But we also ended up going up to the Akershus Fortress.

IMG_0892I love going here. It’s absolutely stunning, plus, I love history and walking through this fortress is just a lot of fun.IMG_0895IMG_0898IMG_0900IMG_0916The Policehorse TorIMG_0923IMG_0937IMG_0941I love it!

Have you ever been here?

Heelllo!

I had an exam today and got home at 20.30, which wasn’t a lot of fun. I had to meet at the school at four, so I had to be there for four and a half hour. I prefer to be one of the first ones, but there was so many people who were going to have the same exam as me and since my last name starts with S, I was the last on the list and had to wait…

Anyway, I’m happy with the result and I’m looking forward to this time tomorrow because I’ll be on Christmas Break! Just one more exam and I’ll have break! Yey!

Last friday I forced my friend Sandra to go to Oslo with me so I could by a camera. I have been wanting this camera for ages and saw that they had it in stock in a shop in Oslo, but at first Sandra didn’t have money to use for the train so we were thinking about driving there, but I really didn’t want to. I’m not ready to drive in the middle of Oslo yet. Anyway, Sandra found her money so we took the train to Oslo and walked to the store. We spent forever in there because I have social anxiety and didn’t have the guts to interrupt anyone there. Heheh. It worked out though!

This is the Canon G7x mark 2, and I’m so excited! I have been wanting this (not the mark 2, obviously) for two years, but every time I have been on the verge of buying it I have backed out telling myself I don’t need it. But I saved up again and bought it because I can use it for everything!

It will also be easier to take pictures for the blog because I won’t spend forever trying to focus on the right thing, because this has a touch screen so I can just click where i want it to focus! *insert heart eye emoji*

If you want to watch me “buy” this camera, then watch this vlogmas! :D

Christmas Market

Hello! Today is Monday, and I am ok with that. I’m actually taking this week “off” when it comes to school work, seeing that I have two weeks until my last two exams. I might end up doing a little bit in the end of the week… But for now, I’m really relaxed!

Yesterday, my mum, dad and sisters (and me) drove to Oslo to a christmas market in the middle of the city. Our aunt and cousins went on Saturday, so we wanted to check it out for ourselves. I have never really been to a christmas market so I was very excited!

I have been trying to get into christmas mood seeing that the first of December is on Thursday! I have been watching old Zoella vlogmas’s and as I’m writing this I’m listening to “old” Norwegian christmas songs! Ahhh, the feeeeels!

Oslo Visit

Hello! Happy Friday!

Today my mum, myself and my two sisters decided we wanted to do something since it’s the “last” day of autumn break. I voted for a world war 2 resistance museum in Oslo, but no one else wanted to do that so we ended up deciding to go to Frognerparken in Oslo. It’s a huge park in Oslo with a bridge full of statues.

Here are some of the statues. I didn’t take a picture of all of them because that would just be boring, but I took pictures of some.

I also loved the weather. It wasn’t too warm or too cold so I wore a thin jacket and a huge scarf and I loved it!

SAMSUNG CSC

Out of focus, of course. This is probably the most well known one. It’s called “Sinnataggen” which is literally just angry boy. It has been stolen a few times so that’s apparently why it’s so “famous”.

This scarf is probably my favourite. It’s huge and comftorable. I bought it from Primark a few years back.

SAMSUNG CSC

This is massive and surrounded by many statues around it again!

We had brought some cookies and crisps and something to drink and sat down on one of the benches in the park.

I just had to take pictures of some of the roses even though they are starting to die..

You can literally see that it was windy hahaha

Day Trip To Oslo

Hello!

Yesterday me and my friend Sandra decided to head into Oslo, mostly so we could catch some Pokemon’s and I had to go poke stops because I have been without pokeballs for a week now and it has been hard… Just joking!

It was a very nice day, not too hot and not too cold. We took the train to nationalteateret and walked around the “top” of Karl Johans street to take the poke stops there. After that we took the tram (?) to Frognerparken. We didn’t walk around the park right away because we were starting to become hungry so we decided to go and buy some food to bring back to the park and eat there.

It was a very nice day!

This guy , Gunnar Sønsteby, was a part of the Norwegian resistance during world war two, and you may know how much I love world war two, and especially resistance during the second world war!

I don’t really know who this guy is haha

As I just wrote; we went and bought some lunch. We went the “healthy” way with a salad, and fruit on the side… We also bought some crisps and some oreos and soda, but hey, who cares?!

a trip to oslo

Yesterday, my family and I (except my dad) drove to Oslo yesterday. We didn’t spend any time, really, in Oslo, except for the hour we spent inside a doctor office that my sister had to go to. It’s been a long time since I was in Oslo, unless you count visiting my grandfather. I guess it counts, but it’s not in the middle of the centre.

IMG_2701

Can I talk about how little snow it is? Nothing! There is still a little snow where I live, but not in the middle of Oslo.

IMG_2703

I have a thing for old buildings and this building is just so beautiful. I didn’t take a better picture than this because I had to take this picture while walking. Also, I have no idea what it’s called, or if it even has a name.

IMG_2698

This building is also very pretty. Although, it is a little creepy too. Do you see the stone heads? haha

IMG_2704

I took this picture while driving home from my grandparents. It’s still beautiful, though.
