another walk

It’s officially summer here in Norway and I am not very happy. You might not know this but I am one of the few people who doesn’t like summer at all. Actually, I do like summer a little: I like reading my book or sitting outside in the evening when the sun isn’t overheating me and playing card games with my friends. And I love to swim in a pool (not a big fan of the ocean because I freak out whenever I see a fish). But I hate the heat. I hate with all my heart!

But, unless I move to a cold place in the summer, I guess I have to deal with it.

A few days ago a friend and I (and my dog) went for a little walk. I brought my camera and took some pictures (I also filmed, but I haven’t gotten around to editing it yet) and I wanted to share them!

Oh, and also, I’m currently on summer break! I finished all my exams and I am SO happy!

Even though I don’t love summer, I can’t argue with the fact that it is very pretty!

Whats your favourite thing about summer?

Hello! I’m finally back to blogging more! May has been a complete stress month for me. It finally calmed down, and even though I still have to exams left, I am a lot less stressed about those – which is very nice!

I wanted to write a blog post today, but couldn’t think of anything to write about  or post, but then I was looking through my camera and realized I had some photos from a few weeks ago when me and my sister went for a little walk. Therefore, I wanted to share some of them today.

IMG_0746IMG_0751He always gets tangled in his long leash… The leash also gets tangled into bushes and everything so I always have to go back and loosen it… At least he is cuteIMG_0752IMG_0756IMG_0757There is a duck thereIMG_0760IMG_0761IMG_0764IMG_0766IMG_0767IMG_0770IMG_0775IMG_0776Those are all the decent pictures I took.

I love going for walks with Diesel (my dog) because he absolutely loves running around and walking “freely”. I am too scared to not use the long leash because he would probably run away. All though he is quite good if we say “på plass” which means “in place”. But if there is another dog or person he would shut me out. Plus, there are always horse shoe marks where we walk and I don’t know how he would act if he met a horse.

Thank you for reading! Do you have a dog?

November Wrap Up

I cannot tell you how excited I am about this! The only thing that could make it even better is snow! But I guess I’ll just have to wait…

Anyway, because I decided to stop sharing my youtube videos on here because I ended up only sharing and not writing any blog posts, I took some pictures of the books I read in the month of November too.

This month was a lot better for me when it came to reading. I have been in a sort of reading slump since the summer, and have only managed to read one or two books each month. But I finally feel like I’m out of it which is amazing. I read four books this month, which led to me reaching my goodreads reading challenge goal which was on 30 books. Which means I have read at least four more books this year compared to last year! I might even read more (I hope).

First, I want to share a picture of my dog looking angry! haha

Nr 1 – Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

This is not my favourite book, but it’s defiantly good. It was an easy and fun read, I suppose.

I gave it a 4/5 stars.SAMSUNG CSC

Nr 2 – Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.k Rowling

I read the cursed child one a few months ago and didn’t like it, so I was a little nervous about this, because I hate not liking anything Harry Potter hehe, but I actually enjoyed this one. I think it’s because I saw the movie before I read it so I knew how things looked, like the creatures and the characters, so I felt like I got attached to the characters more.

I gave it a 4 / 5 stars. SAMSUNG CSCSAMSUNG CSC

Nr 3 – The Rose Society by Marie Lu.

This is the second book in the series /trilogy, and I read the first one a year and a half ago. I gave the first one four stars but I have this half as little. I didn’t like it what so ever. I thought the characters were made to do things without any logical reason. That it was just to get the story going where Marie Lu wanted it to go. I also didn’t like the character development. It just confused me. It’s great if you liked this book, but Im defiantly not going to read the next one.

Nr 4 – Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas

I really like this book. I generally really like this entire series. This is the fourth book and there is one more out and then the next and last will be out next year. (As far as I know) I love the writing, the characters and the story it self. I’m just really invested in these books.

I gave this book 4/5 stars.SAMSUNG CSCSAMSUNG CSC

Sometimes it’s hard to see if its my dog or if it’s the carpet. Especially when it’s darker!SAMSUNG CSCSAMSUNG CSC

Thank you for reading. I also wanted to tell you that if you want, you can watch my youtube video about these books. Click here. (I’m going to start sharing the videos like this instead. In a post)

Also, please let me know if you have read any of these books, and what you thought about them!

Sunday Walk

Hello! I wanted to share some of the pictures I took on the same walk as the one I filmed my last video. (If you want to watch it, click here.) As I wrote in the post I shared the video, it was a little muddy, but honestly, I didn’t mind. It was so beautiful.

My favourite season is autumn, and I love going for walks in the woods now when the leaves stars falling and it becomes a little chilly. It just makes me so happy!

I wanted to share some of the pictures I took. I didn’t bring my camera or anything so I had to use my phone, so it’s not the best quality…

In the end of the war (WW2) a plane crashed in a forest and around 20 people died here. They were buried in the forest, however, the bodies were eventually removed, but there is still a white fence around where they were buried (don’t have a picture of that unfortunately, but you can see it in the video) and this memorial plate thing!

We had to walk up a “hill” on our way back. We could walk a round, but we just walked down to the memorial site and then back up the same path. My little cousin was tired so he asked if we could take a break on this bench so I took a picture because I liked how the sun came through the trees hahah!

Thank you for reading! What is your favourite season?

And please let me know if there is any world war two related places you think I should visit!

why i love winter

It’s difficult to explain why I love winter so much in words, but it’s so easy (for me) to see why I love winter by these pictures. Snow just makes everything so much prettier…

I know a lot of people don’t like winter because it’s cold, but I love the cold. I hate the heat and prefer the bittering cold that hugs your cheek!

My dog loves snow too. When we go for a walk he gets very hyper because he wants to jump into the snow (which you can see in the picture) and I have to drag him out of there and lure him out of the snow with treats… He is cute, though.

Also, the sky in the last picture; it looks like a painting. So beautiful!

catching up

Is it just me or has this month gone by so quickly?! I know it’s only the 19th, but I feel like these nineteen days has gone so quickly!

Sunday: my friend and I decided to go for a walk with my dog. I absolutely love to walk my dog, and I think it’s the perfect time to catch up with my friends. Even though we only walk for fifteen to twenty minutes (sometimes more) we talk about everything and nothing. I’m going to be honest and say that I’m really bad at hanging out with my friends. I rarely do it monday – thursday, and sometimes I’m really lazy and don’t do it friday through sunday. Mostly because I’m lazy and don’t feel like doing anything, but I know when I’m actually hanging out with my friends I love it!

How beautiful is this???? (And my dog)

This is my dog by the way; Diesel. He’s a cockapoo, which is a mix of cocker spaniel and poodle!!

My friends and I are not really the party type, so a card game night is perfect! Usually we use these big cards (really hard to handle hehe), but I couldn’t find them..

Yesterday I decided I wanted to make some pita bread for breakfast and lunch for today. These were amazing and healthy for you – whole wheat, no sugar! Amazing!

I ate this for breakfast and lunch today, and I filled mine with mayo, cheese, turkey ham, some cheese and spinach!! (I love spinach)

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! nnnn
